We think the pool plumbers worked yesterday. Plus some other pictures of odds and ends we may have missed up until now.

Soon we'll have driveway, walkway, mailbox & pool shell! What a lot of concrete. Plus, yesterday we locked in a mortgage rate, so it all feels really real now...

Today's about insect (screens), and driveways - bug splat is the best I could come up with.

Where to begin? Switches, outlets, door handles, plugs, trim, pool...seems like EVERYONE was working on the house today!

All about doors and lights today. And they were still digging the pool hole when we were there at 8 tonight.

Just a few things today - but hints about what's to come!

Work this week can be summed up in one word: SLOW. After the counter tops were installed on Monday, nothing else happened until Thursday - when they started putting in the faucets! They added the kitchen, utility & wet bar sinks on Friday, along with the kitchen and utility faucets.

Then we also had our pool pre-construction meeting on Friday, and picked out all our colors/tiles/etc. We're meeting there on Monday morning to finalize the location (yes, it's still in the wrong place), and they dig the hole on Monday afternoon!!

I've been too busy this week to blog, but here are all the pics. I'll be much better from here on out, I promise.

We had to pick up our mailbox tonight, so we didn't get to the house until dark, but there was the best surprise waiting for us!

There's not a lot that can happen before the counter tops get here, but what can happen, did.

So not a whole lot happened today, but it was more than yesterday!
