All stucco and drywall is up! Now the arduous process of "finishing" is going on.

It looking good, I thought because it is drywall and stucco that it will finish faster but it looks like it is the same speed regardless of the materials. And lord, the mess! That is one and only thing I couldnt stand with construction, the mess. Lawrence had to stop me from cleaning up the apartment once the construction got started because it will just get back messy the next day. He actually told me he will get me a power washer so I can clean the place to my exact standards if I wait until the last day...... now that is a EXCELLENT thought!

Yeah, the stucco process here is so involved that it takes just as long as another type of finish. I still think they'll finish in July though, at the rate they going. Leave a Reply. |
