I realized, due to the comments, that I may not have talked much about the neighborhood we're building in. Our lot is just about 1 acre (1.003 to be precise), and between us and the main road there's a one acre empty lot that's for sale. We're technically on a corner, although the lot is shallow and wide, so the house is being built more along one street than the other. Across that street are four houses, each on about an acre and a half. On our side, there's only one other house, across the corner from us, also on an acre and a half of land. The other street that we're on the corner of ends in a roundabout ("cul-de-sac"), there are six houses on that street, not counting the other corner house. Confusing enough for ya? Basically there are 11 houses, 8 empty lots, and us! Nice and small, very rural feeling - people are private, but we've still been able to meet most of them already, and they're all very nice.
Not as much progress today, but still some noticeable work done. Just a few pics, but they're good ones.
