The beginning of the second month (Day 32)

A lot can happen in a month! I almost didn't recognize the place when we drove up today. I think they're done with all the exterior sheeting, the roof sheeting, and the radiant barrier roof decking (to make the house more energy efficient). All the windows (but one) are also in! They weren't even delivered until today. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.

The first site visit for the pool is set for this week, and the only thing left to organize (eventually) is the fencing! Step by step we're getting closer to the end. Really quickly.

Holey Shmoley! Lol, trying to keep my language clean but wowzers! That picture of house with roof is amazing and I find it so unfair that you can build a house that fast in US! Hmph! and yes I definitely agree with Fuzman that the kids will want to jump out of windows into the pool. Mmmm, maybe you should consider putting a water-slide by the window... LOL, i just kidding. All those lovely windows, please tell me you don't have to put burglar-proofing. I really love those windows.

It has been quick! But the roof still needs shingles, and now the slow part begins, all the stuff inside the walls...

We won't have any burglar proofing (yaay!), we'll have an alarm system that's monitored. We're planning on being careful, but crime isn't as much of an issue here as home.

Yaay about burglarproofing!

The slow part inside the house is NOT THAT SLOW!
