It's pretty cool to see the foundation taking shape. Plumbing (seems like wastewater only - we think) is in. The pictures tell the story best, so here you go:

Oh wow, many pipes! I was surprised to see that pipes will be sealed in the foundation after the concrete is poured. Somehow I thought it will be like Trinidad plumbing style, pipes along the walls! Is this "in the foundation" plumbing fairly common in USA?

It is a very good thing they are checking for leaks before pouring concrete because I don't even want to know what the plumber is going to do if he have to fix the leak under the concrete!

Here they put as much of the pipes in the floor as they can, and the rest it in the walls (more like home). Our house right now is like that, all the pipes in or under the concrete. I think home they do put some stuff in the foundation too, but a lot more of it is along the walls, mostly outside.

But they do check a lot to make sure nothing's wrong before they pour, cos if they don't they'll have to dig up the concrete to fix anything!

Well, that sure explain the price of a plumber in USA!

Happy Easter!
